My name is Roy, and I am the proud founder of Roys Cards & Collectibles, a collectibles and trading cards business located in sunny Port Orange, Florida. What started in early 2014 as a small side hustle to earn extra money for college has grown into a full-scale business driven by a deep passion for collectibles and a lifelong love for Pokémon.

Pokémon has been an integral part of my life since childhood. Like many others of my generation, I spent hours trading cards, battling friends, and immersing myself in the vibrant world of Pokémon. It’s a joy I’ve carried with me into adulthood, and it’s what inspired me to turn my love for these iconic characters into a thriving business. And if you’re curious, my favorite Pokémon is Charmander—a fiery little creature that perfectly embodies my determination and drive.

When I’m not immersed in the world of Pokémon and trading cards, I have another passion: collecting skateboards. It’s a hobby that lets me connect with creativity and self-expression, much like the collectibles business does. Whether it’s a vintage deck or a fresh design, skateboards hold a special place in my heart, just like Charmander and the Pokémon universe.
